This is why you can’t think yourself thin. We need to help your subconscious change its instinctive response to food.

Weight loss hypnosis techniques differ considerably. The most common technique is to use persuasive and repetitive instructions to help override your unhealthy eating behaviours and replace them with new, positive messages of healthy eating. When you’re relaxed, your subconscious will be able to take on these suggestions more readily.
Curative hypnotherapy works differently. It recognises that all symptoms originate from somewhere, and thus seeks to answer why your subconscious needed you to gain weight in the first place. Take the analogy of a weed. If we chop it down it will grow back, and you’ll have to keep managing it over time.
